Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2026 · Applies to the Babil apps for iOS and Android, and hellobabil.com

The short version: Babil is for your family to enjoy. Play fairly, and billing is handled safely by Apple or Google — never by us.

Your licence to use Babil

When you download Babil, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on your own devices, for your own family. Please don't reverse engineer the app, copy or redistribute its audio recordings or artwork, or resell access to it.

Who owns what

All content in Babil — every lesson, recording, and piece of artwork — is © 2026 Nooruldeen Essmat. The voices belong to our own children, and we ask you to treat them with the same care you'd want for yours.

Made for children, guided by parents

Babil is intended for children aged 5–10, used under parental supervision. Anything that isn't a lesson — including all purchases — sits behind a parental gate that requires a typed answer from a grown-up.

Subscriptions

The first 3 units are free. A subscription unlocks everything else: $4.99 per month, or $29.99 per year with a 3-day free trial (the trial is on the yearly plan only). Prices may vary slightly by country and currency.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Billing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — we never see or store your payment details. You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings, at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The free trial converts to a paid year unless cancelled before it ends.

Refunds

Because Apple and Google handle all billing, refunds are handled by them too, under their own policies — through Apple's "Report a Problem" or Google Play's refund process.

No warranty, in plain words

We work hard to make Babil delightful and reliable, but the app is provided "as is". We can't promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions, and to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for damages arising from its use. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that can't be waived.

Changes to these terms

If these terms ever change, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
